These 3-ingredient banana oat cookies are the snack hero you never knew you needed. Made with nothing but pantry staples, they’re naturally sweetened by ripe bananas, packed with whole grain goodness from oats, and studded with melty chocolate chips. Meal-prep a batch on Sunday and snack guilt-free all week long.

Ingredients

Recommended Tools

  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • Fork or potato masher
  • Mixing bowl

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, peel the bananas and mash them thoroughly with a fork until smooth with no large lumps.
  3. Add the rolled oats, vanilla extract, and cinnamon if using. Stir everything together until well combined.
  4. Fold in the dark chocolate chips.
  5. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Flatten each one slightly with the back of a spoon.
  6. Bake for 10–12 minutes until the edges are set and the tops are lightly golden.
  7. Let cool on the pan for 5 minutes before transferring. They firm up as they cool.
